XMARTO RPT20 WiFi Security Camera Repeater/Range Extender

This WiFi camera range extender/repeater is specifically for xmartO WiFi NVR camera systems. By placing the repeater between the NVR and the cameras, it will automatically connect the cameras with weak signals and relay the connection to the NVR, ensuring a stable connection. (The Auto WiFi Relay feature works for G3 systems, while manual WiFi relay is required for G2 systems).

For All Systems: To pair the repeater to the NVR, bring the repeater close to the NVR, hold the sync button for 10 seconds, and the 'NVR' LED will stay on, indicating a successful pairing. This is a basic step required regardless of your system version.

For G3 Camera Systems: If your system is G3 (NVR version 3.0.7+ and camera version 3.2+), you can simply place the repeater somewhere along the route between the NVR and the cameras. Within seconds, it will connect to the NVR, and the 'NVR' LED will stay on. Over the course of several minutes, it will detect the connection status of nearby cameras and automatically connect to those with weak signals, relaying the connection back to the NVR. If the cameras already have acceptable connections to the NVR, the repeater will not modify the connection status.

For G2 Camera Systems: For G2 camera systems (NVR version 2), manual configuration is required. If camera A has an intermittent connection to the NVR, plug the repeater somewhere along the route between the NVR and camera A, then go to the Camera Manage - WiFi Relay section and add camera A behind the repeater. When doing this, camera A needs to have a good connection to the NVR so that it can receive commands from the NVR. If camera A was previously experiencing poor connection to the NVR, it's recommended to temporarily take the camera down, complete the settings, and then mount it back.

To View Connection Status: In the NVR's menu, go to Camera Manage - WiFi Relay to see the cameras' connection status. Ensure that the Auto WiFi Relay option is checked.
